Dr Yogesh Kumar Sarin,
President Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons

Dr. Yogesh Kumar Sarin, is currently the President Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons. He is certified in General Surgery, Pediatric Surgery and Health Care Administration (FMS, DU) and trained in Traumatology (Australia), Pediatric Laparoscopic Surgery (UK) and Pediatric Surgical Oncology (USA). Presntly, Director Professor and Head of Department of Pediatric Surgery at 105-year-old Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi.

 

He is the 48th President of Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons.He had earlier served Secretary-cum treasurer of IAPS. He has been office bearer of its many sections/ chapters of IAPS and that of Indian Academy of Pediatrics.

 

In addition to being the longest-serving Head of Department of a clinical superspecialist Department for 23 years, since 1998 earlier in Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, he has also held the prestigious responsibilities as  Medical Superintendent, Lok Nayak Hospital (associated with MAMC) in 2014-16 , Officiating Dean of Maulana Azad Medical College in 2015 and  was the Director, Central Procurement Agency of Department of Health & Family Welfare, GNCTD in 2016.

 

He has been very active in the Governmental agencies regulating Medical education and Research in India like DU, MCI, ICMR, CSIR. Member Secretary of Superspecialty Committee of Medical Council of India in 2013.

 

Credited to 300 publications in national and international scientific journals, many chapters in textbooks and has participated in/ supervised 43 research projects/ thesis, editor-in-chief of an e-journal ‘Journal of Neonatal Surgery’ (2012-19) and many more scientific journals.

 

He has been awarded by Government and non-governmental organizations; awards include Delhi State Award for Doctors (2012).

 

He has been associated with charitable voluntary work. He has organized many free operative camps in far-flung areas such as Port Blair and Ujjain.

 

Besides being an accomplished academician and astute administrator, he is a skilled pediatric surgeon.

Dr Manoj Aggarwal is a Paediatrician who specialises in Paediatric Development and Behavioural medicine, Paediatric Nutrition and Metabolic Disease. He is certified in Neonatal Advanced Life Support, Paediatric Advanced Life Support and Medical Genetics. Presently he is the Founder Director at Manogeet Child Clinic, Shahdara.

He had earlier been the consultant at Swami Dayanand Hospital from 2007 - 2010 , at Max Hospital Shalimar Bagh from 2010 - 2012  and at Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital from 2012 – 2014.

He  is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA),Medical Council of India (MCI), Delhi Medical Council, and Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP).

He has immensely contributed towards Growth & Development Evaluation / Management, Vaccination/ Immunization, Nutritional Assessment and Paediatric Critical Care.

Dr Kritikka Ajit Kumar

Dr Kritikka Ajit Kumar, an alumini  of Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) had started assisting her mother in the Non Profit Non Government work of Kriti Trust since April 2017.

 

She has been working with other volunteer organisations with similar goals functioning in MAMC campus. Born in an Armed Forces family, she always held extreme passion to work in the field of  women and child development. She was actively involved in the North Eastern States of Nagaland, Tripura and Mizoram for the purpose of educational benefits for war widows, their  children and wives of Armed Forces Personnel including that of Assam Rifles.

Owing to her interest in social work, Dr Kritikka was selected by the Japanese Embassy in the year 2014 for an exchange programme to visit Japan.

 

She also holds a great passion towards music, percussion instruments and is an excellent orator.

Dr Vidushi Baveja, an alumini  of  Army College of Medical Sciences and is currently working as a Tutor in the Dept of Biochemistry at Army College of Medical Sciences. 

She holds great passion for social cause, especially in the field of Women Health and Child Development. She is a certified BLS-ACLS provider from the American Heart Association and also has a publication in the International Journal of Mycobacteriology. 

She has participated in NDTV India’s discussion on ‘Passive Euthanasia and Living Will’, on the show hosted by Vikram Chandra.

An avid  basketball player who had actively participated in college fests and been a part of the music and drama club. She is  a Western Vocalist and  plays Guitar.

Dr Divya Patel

Dr Divya Patel is an intern at B.J. Medical College & Hospital, Ahmedabad Gujarat. He excelled in the subjects of Pathology, Microbiology & Ophthalmology as part of his study curriculum and holds special passion for social service. 

He contributed immensely to the society during the COVID Pandemic. He  has been instrumental in coordination of several College events and has been awarded for same.

Apart from his outstanding academic career, he enjoys cycling and came first worldwide (4141 km) in the cycling competition (max Kms) hosted by Endomondo (by Under Armour) in July 2020. He also led the cycle tour “Tour 747", organized by Rotary International and the Simbalian Cycling Community on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day of India. (747 km, 3 days). He is also the founder of the BJMC Cycling Club.

Dr Priyanshu Sharma has completed his under graduate course in medicine from Yerevan State Medical University, Armenia.. He was the President of the student council during his college days and was an active participant in all types of Co-Curricular activities. 

He fluently speaks Armenian language and loves freestyle Bollywood dancing.He  has special interest in exploring new places and observing differences in culture, behaviour and lifestyle.

Dr Sudeep Singh is a second year Post Graduate Resident of Community Medicine at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He is specialising in Geriatric Care. He has been very active in College Games & sports activities and has represented his educational institute in debate and quiz competitions.  

 

He holds special passion for social service and has been volunterily involved in several charitable activities. He loves reading and watching movies and listening to songs.

Dr Aditya Anand is an alumni of King George’s Medical University, Lucknow and is currently working towards pursuing residency in the United States. He has an immense love for Internal Medicine and primary healthcarefocussed towards the community. Dr Aditya is also a part of another NGO that aims to spread awareness about cancer and preventative measures. He contributed greatly during the second wave of the pandemic in the country. Apart from academics, Dr Aditya is also a pianist and an avid reader.
